Before & After Scrapbook Layout Ideas

Take a look at these "Before & After" scrapbook layout ideas to cherish your efforts for a lifetime! Are you building a new home or doing some remodeling? Or maybe you are fabricating a car? What ever the project, be sure to take pictures!

Your first page will show the "Before" picture. I believe this page needs to have an emphasis on the journal entry.

In this journal entry be sure to include the date of the beginning of the project. Also consider entering in any of the following relevant topics: What is your budget?; Was there a reason for the change?; How long do you expect the project will take?; Who will be helping you on the project?

I am now going to skip to the last page. The last page is the "After" page. This page should include a picture of the completed project. The journal entry on this page should include, similar to the first page, the date. Be sure to answer all of the questions that were estimates in the journal entry on the first page, such as Were you under or over the budget?; How long did the project take? Also consider answering questions like What were some things that did not go quite as planned?; What was your favorite part of the project?

Now for the pages in between. It really isup to you how frequently you would like to document. My suggestion is to make a page at at least every big change or phase. For example, if you were creating a scrapbook for a new house, I would consider the following scrapbook layout ideas for to fill my pages:

Maybe you will have an open house, if so make sure you take pictures of the party! This page could come after the pictures of the furnished house!
